All treatments are provided within the clients own home or care home establishments. Working closely alongside any care staff involved, supports the overall management of clients. Proven experience in the field of Moving and Handling, compliments clients progress and can also assist those who care for the individual concerned. Andrea regularly communicates with other professionals, both NHS staff, as well as private and has a large network of contacts, making it easier to access other disciplines if required e.g. Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapists. Virtual consultations via Skype or other digital means are also available if required.

Physiotherapy input may include:

Facilitation of normal movement, balance and gait re-education
Maintenance of a persons mobility - provision and assessment of walking aids
Passive movements to help prevent contracture
Postural management - advice on positioning in chair or bed
